Sick....got real sick....

After almost a month in Singapore, I finally had to come back to Ho Chi Minh....sigh...why must I work? :P

After a week....I got hit by a case of food poisoning...bad....I hate retching....

And after another week...I got hit by a bad case of gasteritis.....Woke up in the middle of the night with crampy stomach....popped a couple of pills but didn't work....had to wake up my auntie to go with me to the 24hrs clinic....lucky there are some International 24hr clinics here....

It was real bad...I was cringing so badly and broke out in cold sweat...dripping....and moaning! Even after I arrived at the clinic, the Dr took quite some time to come because it was like 430am and they were all sleeping in their rooms....guess they don't have that many patients in the wee hours of the morning....Dr tried to make me lie down but my stomach was cramping so badly that I couldn't....finally they had to insert the IV needle while I was still sitting and doubling over.....after about 5 minutes (which seemed like a bloody long time if you are in acute pain!), the meds worked and I could finally lie back and relax...it was really a torture....

After about 3 hrs, the next dr on duty came in to check on me....woohoo...he was a cutie! Think he's of French Vietnamese decent...spoke with a French accented English and could also speak Vietnamese! And he had a pair of gorgeous green eyes behind his spectacles....phew....cute....not your typical hot cutie but the slightly nerdy dr type of cutie....hehe...at least there's a silver lining to my dark cloud!

After about another hr, I was deemed ok to go home...took my meds and went home to sleep....But alas...after about 2 hrs of sleep, I woke up with pain again! I mean...wah lao! So had to go back to the clinic.....

Lucky the cute Dr was still there but he was really puzzled that I had returned! He couldn't quite accept that I was still in pain after being pumped with meds....I also couldn't understand! So after a little analysis, they shifted me to their temporary ward (with those hospital beds) and decided to keep me longer for observations. So I had my drip again.....This was like the third attempt!

After another couple of hours, another Dr came in to check on me....guess the French Dr's shift was over....and he suggested that I go for an ultrasound to see if I had any gall stones because I was still having mild stomach cramps...thank goodness I didn't have any stones....all organs in the clear!

So after about 6 hours in total, the Dr said that I could go home since they can't quite figure out what was wrong with me and since I was feeling better also......

Still don't know what is wrong with me, I subsequently went back to Spore to do more tests and take more meds but tummy is still not back to normal.....found out that I had some bateria or parasites in my duodenum but after taking anti-biotics, I still have hyper acidity problems and super gasey stomach!

Tried acupuncture and Chinese meds after that....better but still not back to normal....sigh....what is wrong?!?!!? Really hope that I will find the right cure soon! Pray for me! :)
